A Change Is Coming!

As of August 15th, 2009 there will be an increase in my "Sassy Shoot" sitting fee. It will be $150 weekdays and $175 for Saturdays. Anyone who books a shoot before 8-15-09 (even if the shoot is scheduled for the fall) will still get the old pricing. I hope everyone understands that I have not had a price increase in several years and that I've been working hard to stay current with digital photography by investing in hands on workshops, seminars and extensive training. I've reinvested into my company by getting newer and better equipment to give my clients better and sharper photos. Lastly, I'd like everyone to know that I average minimum 10 hours of work per photo shoot b/c I am giving my clients retouched proofs in their proof book. You do the math! I could be making more at McDonald's but since I love what I do so much I'm going to keep at it. Thanks to everyone who has helped me grow my business. I truly appreciate and am ready for you to B N THE PHOTO!!!

Bridal Shoot Demo

I still like to photograph a wedding every now and then and thought I'd post this bridal demo that I made recently. It's kind of edgy and different...just like me! Imagine that. Hmmm, now that I think about it I don't know if I'm really considered "edgy" but I am different! I know that much for sure. :) Turn your volume up b/c this has a really catchy tune. For those of you wondering what the bride's tattoo says on the deer head banner... it's "Pops". Ha!

The Popsicle Party Was A Hit!

So, I wrapped up my "Popsicle Party" Shoots today and all in all it was a big success. I had a ton of fun photographing the kiddos in their bright swimsuits and cute cover ups while they acted silly eating their popsicles. I think the kids had fun, too. What child wouldn't love popsicles for breakfast on a hot summer day? For everyone who thought this was a good idea but just couldn't work it into your schedule, have no fear b/c I will be doing this again next year. I LOVED it!

The "H" Family

We had a blistering hot photo shoot last week at 9:00 am. I truly believe it was already 100 degrees that morning but we weathered through for about an hour. We all packed our towels so we could dab our sweaty foreheads through the shoot. I had to dab mine just to keep the sweat from running into my eyeballs. Even with all the heat, we got some awesome shots of this super fun family. They were real easy going and requested colorful walls for their shoot. You all know me...I LOVE colorful walls so this was right up my alley.

It's A Sizzling Summer Special!!!

Hey everyone! I've got a great summer special going on right now that I've never offered before. It could become one of my regular favorites though. This is a great time to get some cute, colorful and summery shots while the kiddos are tan! These fun shots of your kids playing and being silly make for some great art in decorating your playrooms. This shoot is for kids only.

My Beach Photos

I couldn't go to the beach with my family and not be photographed, too. I've gone too many times and decided I wanted some shots of my family. I gave my girlfriend a brief tutoring session on my camera and even made her shoot in manual, too. She did a GREAT job if I don't say so myself. I can't wait to have some of these printed up!

Barefoot & Crazy

A few weeks ago, I heard that Jack Ingram was shooting his "Barefoot & Crazy" video here in Austin and everyone was invited. I loaded the boys up that Friday night and we cruised out to the Lakeway Spa and Resort to see what all the hubbub was about. It was alot of fun watching to see how they made a video. We are in the second level pool and had Sloan up on LeRoy's shoulders in hopes of getting him in the video. They took some close up shots of him but we didn't make the cut. Although, there are a sea of legs in the beginning of the video and I honestly think one pair is mine. I thought I saw my tattoo on the ankle. Ha! Anyway, I loved how the video turned out b/c it's so Austin. Check it out.
