A Day At The Park

The last time I photographed the Munger family Mama was pregnant with the little one. I can't believe how big he is already and that he looks like an identical twin to his older brother. We had a great time going on an adventure at the park. While I was photographing Mom and Dad, the boys went off to explore and they found 2 scorpians under a rock they picked up. Geez! They had a ball (literally) playing a mini soccer match at the field and then we went down by the creek and Dad showed the boys how to skip rocks on the water. It was so cute! All in all, another great time photographing this sweet family.

My Little Heartbreaker

I managed to squeeze a few photos out of my boy the other night after I had tossed the football with him for awhile. He was not on board with doing the shoot however I negotiated (like the best of my parents) a deal and let him stay up 35 minutes later on a school night. Again, it was a short shoot but I haven't taken any shots of him since Christmas so I was pleased with what I got. My little guy is totally into football right now and it's been so fun cheering him on and helping him practice. He even taught me how to hold and throw the football correctly. Who knew you had to put your fingers between the strings? I thought the stitching was always there to make the football stylish! Ha! I even came up with my own move...it's called "the mama." He gets tickled when I do it and sometimes even requests me to do it or tries to imitate me. I love it!

Wall Displays

I have this great "Inspire Guide for Wall Displays" which gives you (the client) great ideas for photo wall displays in your home. I recently had a client order 4-11x14 gallery wraps for her wall display and I wanted to show you a couple different ways they could be hung. The first two photos are from my Inspire Guide and in the first shot it shows 4-16x20's but these could be substitued for 11x14's as well. I absolutely LOVE this book b/c alot of my clients aren't quite sure what to do with their new photos and this gives so many great options and helps in the decision making process. The other great thing about making your wall display out of gallery wraps is that you don't have to buy frames b/c the photo wraps around the edges giving it a finished look. Let me know how I can help you make your cool wall display!

Dance Yourself Silly

Heeeelllllllllllloooooo friends! I feel like I haven't been blogging in forever...probably b/c I haven't! I've had the pleasure of watching my neice for the past 4 days and I talked her into a photo shoot. I think you all will be amazed to see the photos when you find out that this photo shoot lasted all of 8 minutes at the max! After I took the first 3 shots of her she said, "Are we done now Brannie?" She cracks me up constantly and she is wearing my shoes in the photos and that was her addition to her outfit...and I love it!

Hippity Hop!

Last weekend I headed down to Gruene, Texas to meet one of my favorite little families...The Sandahls. Their little girl is growing so fast and she is absolutely adorable at 9 months. It was an Easter photo shoot and mom brought along all her cute, fuzzy Easter friends. It turned out to be an EGGS-ellent shoot!
