Think Big Prints!

Are you afraid to hang a big family print around your house? Well, don't be! This family (ok, it's my sister) decided to hang some "BIG" gallery wraps of their kids on their big, bare wall in their playroom. The large one is a 40x50" and the smaller one is a 30x40". I think this is a great example of using your family photos as an investment for artwork around your home. Think big prints when you're trying to decide what could go above the fireplace in that cutout or above the dead space above the couch. What about above your bed in your bedroom? That always makes a great place to display prints as well. Just a little side note to ...

Two Little Cupcakes

Check out these two sweeties! We had to get the little one warmed up to the idea of taking pictures but once she got started she was all over it. As for big sis, well if you can't tell by looking...she's a natural. Even though Meghan is only in kindergarten she stands about a foot taller than my 8 year old son. Look out! I told her mom that they REALLY may have a future model on their hands. We ended the shoot with rewarding them with cupcakes and it was a fun ending to a really long and hot shoot.

Emily's 1st Communion

Another one of my dear gal pal's is moving even farther away. The Reinholts are off to New Mexico at the end of the month. Why do all my friends move away?
Well, my girlfriend Letty wanted some different shots of her daughter in her first communion dress and I found just the spot! She was so cute in her little white dress and sparkly veil. Letty brought her cowgirl boots along and an outfit change for a little spunkier look. Emily did a great job modeling and we got some adorable photos of her. Peace out!

Did Someone Say Beach?

I'm going to Port Aransas, TX for some sun and fun June 4-8th. I will be photographing kids and families while I'm there. If you would like to get on my schedule for some beach photos then just call me or email me at
While I will be utilizing the beauty of the beach, I will also be incorporating the colorful building in town as well. These will be relaxed, fun and colorful photographs that would look beautiful on anyone's living room walls.

Little Angels

I had the opportunity to work with the Shumakers a few weeks back and they were so easy to photograph. Their girls were so sweet, cooperative and quiet but once they warmed up a little I found out they like to giggle...alot. We had a great shoot just using their house, backyard and greenbelt area. Check out their family photos here.

The Bruner Boys

I moved to Texas about 13 years ago with Lori and Jana. We were 3 swinging singles looking to make a fresh start in Texas and hoping to meet the men of our dreams. Lori met her dream man and they moved to Kentucky (of all places!) to take over a successful family business. Anyway, her family came back to visit in April and these are her crazy boys. She wanted some cowboy photos and since I had just used that weathered TX bus it was fresh in my mind and we went back to the Spoke for their shoot.
How 'bout them cowboys?

Rainboots & Rugged

Here's a couple of cuties that I get to photograph every spring and fall. I enjoy photographing the boys and learning from them. They are super smart and are always full of good information and quirky humor.

Hit The Road Jake!

I found the perfect song to commemorate Jake's photos. Once I heard this, I couldn't refuse using it in his video. Check it's so cute!

We have just celebrated the adoption and first birthday of my best gal pal's baby boy Jakers! His daddy is a big, bad cop and has a big, bad Harley that he likes to tool around town on. We wanted to work Jaker's shoot around his dad's love for bikes. Mama decked him out in some cool duds and we got some of THE best shots ever. Isn't Baby J one of the cutest baby's ever? Look at those puppy dog eyes...who could resist those?
