ATX High School Senior Shoot | Alex | Westlake High School

Alex and Cicily (previous photo shoot) are besties and I photographed them separately and in different locations but on the same day of Thanksgiving break. Alex knew she wanted nature for her senior photo shoot and we decided to go to the Zilker Botanical Garden and utilize the beauty nestled right in the heart of Austin. I actually hadn't been there in years so it was good to go back and see what new construction they've added to the park. It really is a cool spot with some great scenic areas perfect for a photo shoot. Of course, we HAD to shoot on the iconic wooden arched bridge in the Japanese garden section! As the sun started to go down quickly, we hopped over to Zilker Park and got some more fun, candid shots in the golden light. Alex and her mom Sue were so cute together that I had to get a few shots of them having fun. Grab yourself a lil' cup of hot cocoa on this rainy day and kick back and enjoy Alex's video.

I can't stand the cuteness! The black and white polka dot dress, the European vibe, the ginger hair and the sweetest smile ever! It was so fun to photograph Cicily to commemorate her senior year of high school and we had so much fun moving around Laguna Gloria's art to do it. I can't quite get over the fact that she wore her grandmother's yellow and blue high school cardigan from Central High in Kansas City...talk about a moment to cherish. Extended Family Photo Shoot | The Holders-Wilson | Lake Austin

Even though once again at another one of my shoot's this fall the drizzle keeps getting in the way, we made the most of it and it was a "Lovely Day". Luckily, they have an awesome covered patio with a beautiful view of Lake Austin which always makes for a great backdrop. The swans came to visit and have some snacks for a few of the photos which was a sweet treat. And, we finished the shoot out front in the street and everyone weathered the drizzling rain with their smiles on and made the most of it! Thank you Holders and Wilsons for being such troopers!
