Don't Blink | Jack Senior 2022 | Wimberley High School

Oh, I used to change this one's diapers when he was a baby! I'd help his mama out sometimes and baby sit him when they needed help. His mama Lori and I are sorority sisters from Mizzou and then moved to Texas together many years ago when we were young, single and fancy free! Now, we're old (jk!) and my baby is in college and hers is about to be! It's hard to believe but Jack's a senior this year at Wimberley HS and ready to take on his last year and make it the best yet. He's the kicker for the football team there so we finished his photo shoot down at the fb field. When you see his photos, you'll see why I was torn on what song to use for his video b/c I could've used "Boys of Summer" by Kenny Chesney OR I could've titled it "Friday Night Lights", too. Anyway you slice it, he's one handsome dude and he rocked his senior shoot and was a great sport while Lori and I drug him all around Wimberley. :))) Grab your protein smoothie and a bar and kick back and enjoy Jack's video.

The Goepel Rager | Oconomowac Lake, Wisconsin | Celebrating It All!

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to photograph a big, huge shindig for the Goepels up in Wisconsin. Or shall we say "rager"? Originally, Pat & Deb were going to have a big 25th wedding anniversary party last summer but then covid hit and like all other events their party got cancelled. Fast forward to this year and they decided that they wanted to have a party but celebrate both of them turning 60 and both of their boys graduating college AND getting jobs and their 26th wedding anniversary instead. :) Their sons both said they wanted to have a "rager" hence how it became the Goepel Rager. And, if you're wondering what a Goepel is (like my son asked me) it is their last name. LOL! The last few days leading up to the party were hair raising. We'd all been keeping an eye on the weather because this party was going to be in their back yard and we needed good ol' Wisconsin summer weather. Well, two days before the party, 3 tornadoes blew through the area and knocked the power out and tore some branches down but over all just gave Deb a huge scare. The day of the party was beautiful! The sun was shining and the temperature was in the mid 70's. Now that's what I'm talking about! There were about 150 people that came from near and far and it was so great seeing friends and family together again. I put together a video compilation of photos that I took through out the day and as the night went on things got a little bit livlier and a little bit crazier.
