I moved to Texas about 13 years ago with Lori and Jana. We were 3 swinging singles looking to make a fresh start in Texas and hoping to meet the men of our dreams. Lori met her dream man and they moved to Kentucky (of all places!) to take over a successful family business. Anyway, her family came back to visit in April and these are her crazy boys. She wanted some cowboy photos and since I had just used that weathered TX bus it was fresh in my mind and we went back to the Spoke for their shoot. How 'bout them cowboys?
Here's a couple of cuties that I get to photograph every spring and fall. I enjoy photographing the boys and learning from them. They are super smart and are always full of good information and quirky humor.
We have just celebrated the adoption and first birthday of my best gal pal's baby boy Jakers! His daddy is a big, bad cop and has a big, bad Harley that he likes to tool around town on. We wanted to work Jaker's shoot around his dad's love for bikes. Mama decked him out in some cool duds and we got some of THE best shots ever. Isn't Baby J one of the cutest baby's ever? Look at those puppy dog eyes...who could resist those?
I'm running a little behind on my photo editing right now so I'm just getting to these shots that I took over Easter break. I had such a good time meeting and working with these little ladies...they were so easy to photograph and just cooperative as all get out. We got some really great shots in the bluebonnets and then did a part 2 to the shoot with a little more rustic feel. That's just how we like it!
Before I left for my trip, I had the pleasure of photographing Kelly who is a 2009 graduating senior. Yeah! We had a great time shooting in a few different places. Since she was on the rowing team she had requested that maybe we could do something with the boats and boathouse. I loved it! It made for some great textures and lines in the photos plus we incorporated "a little bit of her" into the shoot.
