Friday Night Lights | Tyler Senior 2022 | Wimberley High School

Let's all give Tyler a big welcome to Texas y'all! He just moved to Wimberley to finish out his senior year and I'm pretty sure he's got all the girls in a flitter. In fact, during our photo shoot a couple girls drove by and yelled, "Oh my gosh, that's Tyler...hiiiiiiii Tyler!!!" Being from a small town, I told him I remembered how exciting it was when a new kid moved to our school. We ALL knew when a new kid rolled into town b/c we rarely had new people come to our school! :) It was great fun for me as well getting to do another photo shoot in Wimberley! It's fun to photograph in new and different places. We photographed Tyler around the Blue Hole area which had some amazing trees, wooden fences and good textures! His blue truck was an amazing pop of color and Mama did a great job working the key fob to get the orange lights to come on during the photos. LOL! Of course, we had to hit the football field for some shots in his football jersey and get those Texas Friday night lights photos! Grab a latte and some ginger snaps and kick back and enjoy Tyler's senior video. Yee-Haw!!

Somewhere Over the Rainbow or...Should I say Surf Shack? | Aidan | Senior 2022 | Dripping Springs High School

This guy showed up for his senior shoot looking SO dapper! He was killin' it with his stylish outfits. You know I was in love with his tropical shirts. We found a beautiful swimming hole in Driftwood that made a great backdrop for his toucan shirt and green shorts AND also represented his love for swimming on the high school swim team. I know it looks like we're in Jamaica but we're in beautiful Texas. :) Next, we had to hightail it over to a local food trailer park where we could have some good color to showcase his beachy button down. We used the cute pink food trailer @WhamBam for an awesome backdrop to accentuate that palm tree shirt. By this point, his modeling skillz had kicked in and he was owning that hand through the hair move. Grab your pina colada and some fish tacos and kick back and watch Aidan's video!

Don't Blink | Jack Senior 2022 | Wimberley High School

Oh, I used to change this one's diapers when he was a baby! I'd help his mama out sometimes and baby sit him when they needed help. His mama Lori and I are sorority sisters from Mizzou and then moved to Texas together many years ago when we were young, single and fancy free! Now, we're old (jk!) and my baby is in college and hers is about to be! It's hard to believe but Jack's a senior this year at Wimberley HS and ready to take on his last year and make it the best yet. He's the kicker for the football team there so we finished his photo shoot down at the fb field. When you see his photos, you'll see why I was torn on what song to use for his video b/c I could've used "Boys of Summer" by Kenny Chesney OR I could've titled it "Friday Night Lights", too. Anyway you slice it, he's one handsome dude and he rocked his senior shoot and was a great sport while Lori and I drug him all around Wimberley. :))) Grab your protein smoothie and a bar and kick back and enjoy Jack's video.

The Goepel Rager | Oconomowac Lake, Wisconsin | Celebrating It All!

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to photograph a big, huge shindig for the Goepels up in Wisconsin. Or shall we say "rager"? Originally, Pat & Deb were going to have a big 25th wedding anniversary party last summer but then covid hit and like all other events their party got cancelled. Fast forward to this year and they decided that they wanted to have a party but celebrate both of them turning 60 and both of their boys graduating college AND getting jobs and their 26th wedding anniversary instead. :) Their sons both said they wanted to have a "rager" hence how it became the Goepel Rager. And, if you're wondering what a Goepel is (like my son asked me) it is their last name. LOL! The last few days leading up to the party were hair raising. We'd all been keeping an eye on the weather because this party was going to be in their back yard and we needed good ol' Wisconsin summer weather. Well, two days before the party, 3 tornadoes blew through the area and knocked the power out and tore some branches down but over all just gave Deb a huge scare. The day of the party was beautiful! The sun was shining and the temperature was in the mid 70's. Now that's what I'm talking about! There were about 150 people that came from near and far and it was so great seeing friends and family together again. I put together a video compilation of photos that I took through out the day and as the night went on things got a little bit livlier and a little bit crazier.
