It's that time of year again when the kids go back to school, the leaves slowly fall from the trees, my family's start to think about their holiday cards and family photo shoots and schedule their annual photos. I love it. I'm always amazed when the kids come rolling up each year and they've grown so much since the year before. This year one of my all time favorite family's arrived and their energetic younger son, Grayson, showed up with his hair in a faux hawk and deemed himself a Tigerhawk. He gave us lots of tiger rawrs and paws through out the shoot. They always keep me on my toes! It was a lively shoot as always with this year containing a bit of dad/son wrestling on the Capitol floors to climbing trees and acting like sloths. Austin Lifestyle Family shoot | The Roberts

It was my first time photographing this beautiful family. I was referred to them by The Fletchers who is one of my most fun families to photograph so I knew right from the start that we were going to get along great. Aaaaand, they knocked it out of the ballpark. We met down at Seaholm and took advantage of the great weather and places to shoot. Their kiddos are off the chart cute and participated during the shoot like champs. I was immediately reminded how much I love 4 year olds! It was one of my most favorite stages of when my son was growing up. Their personalities and independence start shining through but they're still so small that you just want to squeeze them. Another beautiful fall day and another great photo shoot of Dr. Mai and her boys! I can't believe how big the boys are getting but I say that of every family that I see once a year. We shot at the trains off of 290 and once the boys started climbing on the railings then we actually got some smiles eeking out. Bali | Senior 2023 | Vista Ridge High School

So, it's been a minute since I've posted anything here but the fall photo season has arrived and is in full swing. To get back in the swing of posting shoots on here, there is no better way to start than with Bali! I've been photographing this stunner since she was a wee one and she just keeps getting more gorgeous every time I see her. The shoot was filled with cute outfit changes, jewelry changes, hair and make up touch ups and lugging a black leather chair across the park to get our amazing skyline shot of her! Let's talk about her overalls...these are just the cutest things that I've ever seen! Luckily, they had just gotten picked up from the artist that day of our shoot so luck was in our favor. Apparently, they're somewhat of a homecoming tradition at Vista Ridge high school and I think I love them more than the giant Texas mums tradition! LOL!
