I CANNOT believe my little nugget niece is graduating this spring. I'm wrecked just thinking about it! She's going to be leaving us to go off to art school which we hope to know where soon. This is photo shoot #1 that we took last fall at Red Bud Isle and it's taken me forever to edit them. I had to cull through them like 10 times because I was having a terrible time narrowing them down. I wanted to keep every photo. Isn't she just cute as a bug's ear and gorgeous all at the same time? She's had her own sense of style ever since she was little and I just love seeing her one of a kind outfits that she puts together. High School Senior Shoot | Claire | Westlake High School | Austin, TX

For Claire's senior shoot, she wanted to go to the Sekrit Theater. The Sekrit Theater is like the way Austin "used to be". It's like an old, Austin hippie's backyard. It's filled with eclectic and quirky stuff from an old school bus, a rusty pick up truck, a coloful flower wall, a classic airstream trailer, a wooden piano resting under a big oak tree with lit chandeliers and then of course the show stopper which is THE glass house. It's a fun place to shoot and gives lots of room for creativity to happen. We rented the place for a few hours before sunset and had a blast running around the property and photographing Claire. Meet Shirley...she's giving me total Jane Fonda vibes and I'm completely inspired by her. Shirley contacted me wanting some new photos of herself. We talked about what type of photos that she would like and she let me know that she's going to try some online dating and would like some current photos of herself. We discussed how terrible the photos are on these online dating sites that guys post of themselves (no matter what age they are...haha!) and I told her we could definitely get some good updated photos of her. Downtown Family Shoot 2024 | The Collins | SOCO

I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing The Collins family for the first time. We met on South Congress and took advantage of a few great locations...the twinkling lights by Perla's and the black tile wall at South Congress Hotel. As the shoot transpired, so did the wind! A cool front was moving in and making like a wind tunnel along the street where we were. It looks like I brought the industrial fans to work with me in a few shots but I did not. We took cover within a courtyard there but soon got kicked out by security. Austin can be so "big city" now it makes my heart hurt. Lifestyle Family Shoot | The Fletchers | "The Cranch" Austin, TX

What can I say? I am a boy mom and a photographer who loves to photograph rambunctious little boys with a lot of energy! That is why every year I assign Mama Erika to drink a glass or two of wine before the shoot so she can go with the flow and let the magic happen. This year the boys have discovered bunny ears so if you see random fingers behind heads or shoulders it's because there are bunny ears being made behind mom and dad's heads. There was a lot of laughter (and maybe a few tears shed briefly) but mainly laughter happening all through this shoot. I hope you can feel the happiness in the photos. We photographed Maddie over at Pease Park and it was the most beautiful fall day you could imagine! Thank goodness it was since we had to reschedule our original shoot due to rain. Maddie has had many successful soccer seasons growing up and now she is on her way to play soccer in college. All her hard work is paying off as she heads off to college on scholarship! I photographed Samson a few weeks ago and he's just a natural in front of the camera (just like his older brother who I photographed a few years ago). He plays the drums in band so we thought it would be so cool to incorporate that into his shoot. @AviatorNation was nice enough to let us borrow their awesome drum set for a few photos and I just love the vibe happening in them! Ooooh weeeee! I've been photographing Lydia since she was in preschool so you can only imagine how difficult it is for me to photograph her as a senior in high school. I know I say this every year but it's just crazy to see these kids grow up so fast! I dug into the archives and had to share one photo of Lydia when she was younger hanging with her brothers. Yes, Lydia has 4 bros so I just couldn't resist sharing this oldie but goodie of them. :)

We had a great shoot in downtown Austin wandering around Rio Grande and embracing the uniqueness all around us. We enjoyed modeling and hair advice from a complete stranger, dogs wandering into our shoot, seeing the CRAZIEST BIGGEST LONGEST car of all times pull up next to us and had a fight with our confetti bomb that went every which way except the way we wanted! Austin TX Senior 2024 Shoot | Max | Westlake High School

Wow! Where do I even begin? I've been photographing this guy and his siblings fora verdy loooooong time! I first met them when I was starting to grow my business and ran a "Popsicle Party Mini Shoot" special...ah, the good ol' days! Those were some fun sessions. Max must've been about 3 years old then. I've gotten to watch him and his sisters grow up as I photographed the family every few years. Let's TALK about LUNA their dog! She's the best! She's been along for the ride on almost all the shoots and we have a tradition of ending the shoot with the kids chasing Luna towards me as she runs full speed. This time, we had to give Luna (who is now 12 yro) a head start so she could try and beat the kids across the field. I'm tearing up as I write this but I'm happy to know that they will have these photos to cherish forever. TX State Senior Grad Photo Shoot | Stephen | San Marcos, TX

I can't believe Stephen is my first Texas State senior to photograph on campus but he was and I loved every single minute of it! It was so fun running all over campus hitting all the hot spots to take photos of him. Luckily, his dad waited in line for us at "the arch" to save our spot so we could continue to shoot instead of having to wait in line. And his mom helped with all the fine details while we fought with the wind the entire time. It's crazy how these certain spots are hot spots for photos but I love that these college graduates want to document this huge accomplishment! They deserve some great shots of themselves on their college campus. I love how Stephen is rocking the classic look with his cap and gown at the arch...it's just so cool. We couldn't end the shoot without heading down to the river and photographing him floating in his cap...every Texas State student has spent a boat load of time at the river! Senior Shoot 2024 | Espi | Austin, TX State Capitol

Espi showed up for her senior shoot wearing a super cute green and white dress that looked amazing with her hazel/greenish brown eyes. We utilized the inside of the State Capitol's architecture with the cool columns, stairs and dome and then headed outside for some outdoors shots. The weather was just scrumptious. We took care of business with this family shoot making it a multi purpose shoot...in this shoot we knocked out Rachel's senior photos, gave older sister Sarah some fun new shots of herself AND got a few good photos of the entire family! We used the girl's Godmother's property to do the photo shoot which make the photos even more special that they have great memories tied to this land. It's a beautiful piece of property with tons of trees, a little creek that runs through it and giant wooden teepee structures speckled through out the property. We knocked out Mason's senior photos over the holiday break and we had the most gorgeous December day to photograph him! We utilized the downtown Butler Park area and it was packed with people that day. ATX High School Senior Shoot | Alex | Westlake High School

Alex and Cicily (previous photo shoot) are besties and I photographed them separately and in different locations but on the same day of Thanksgiving break. Alex knew she wanted nature for her senior photo shoot and we decided to go to the Zilker Botanical Garden and utilize the beauty nestled right in the heart of Austin. I actually hadn't been there in years so it was good to go back and see what new construction they've added to the park. It really is a cool spot with some great scenic areas perfect for a photo shoot. Of course, we HAD to shoot on the iconic wooden arched bridge in the Japanese garden section! As the sun started to go down quickly, we hopped over to Zilker Park and got some more fun, candid shots in the golden light.
