The relatives will just love these! Yeah! The top section shows the front, back and inside flap of the card and the bottom section shows the inside spread.

The "F" Family

We had a fun photo shoot downtown last week. We tried to work the Paramount into some of the photos but there was a film festival going on at the time and people were congregating out in front so we were trying to dodge them which is always interesting. We had a cool front move in that day and the wind was still blowing pretty hard but that always makes it look like I brought the modeling fans along for some dramatic shots. :) Very fun shoot.

New 2009 "Defined" Christmas Card Samples

This year I'm offering the "Defined" collection for Christmas cards as well as all my samples from the previous years. I love these cards because they are fully customizable from colors, to choosing which of the 9 "definitions" you'd like on your card and the custom salutation. The 9 different definitions are: "jolly", "merry", "noel", "rejoice", "peace", "joyful", "silent night", "miracle" and "wonder". Keep this in mind when choosing a card. If you think oh, I love that lay out but didn't really want a red card then know that I can make that change for you! These are 5x7 2-sided flat cards printed on cardstock. There is ALSO a 5x7 folded card option for each design as well. These are a bit more pricey but VERY swanky. :) Pricing for the flat cards are really quite economical compared to others especially since these are printed on a beautiful, heavy cardstock.

Minimum order 25 cards 1.85/ea
26-60 cards 1.80/ea
61-125 cards 1.75/ea
125+ 1.65/ea

More UT-DSACT photos

It's been a little crazy around here lately but I was finally able to work on the photos from a few weeks ago when I went to the UT Longhorn football practice. I don't have all the exact details of the story but the jist of it is that apparently one of the UT players used the word "retarded" in an interview. The Down Syndrome Association is trying to stomp out the use of the "R" word so they set up this meeting to talk to the UT players about setting an example and not using the "R" word anymore. The team seemed very receptive to what was being said and Jack (boy in maroon shirt) gave a great little speech about how his feelings get hurt when people use the word "retarded". I was the lucky one who got to go along to the practice and document the meeting and practice. It was very fun and just a surreal experience. As I was standing down on the turf looking up at the huge Memorial stadium, I thought to myself when in my life did I ever think I'd be at a UT practice down on the turf? Then I had to whip out my MIZZOU hat and get a pic of myself! :) Once a Tiger always a Tiger (even if your team's not that hot).
