March Photo Special
I am running for the first time a really cool photo promo for the end of this month. They are original pieces of digital artwork that have a watercolor effect over your photograph. Since I make each one individually and give the client the choice of color palette, there will be no two exactly the same. The special includes: a short studio shoot which we can probably knock out in about 15 minutes. This technique requires nice, even lighting so it works really well if I use my studio lighting equipment. As I said before, the color palette is chosen by the client so they can pick colors that will work with their home furnishings. I've tried to give a few different examples using 3 different color palettes so you can see the differences. Then, the finished product will be printed on a metallic canvas float wrap sized 20x20 that comes ready to hang on your walls immediately. There will be no hunting for a frame nor excuses 6 months later that you haven't been able to hang your pieces up yet b/c you never had them framed. Voila! They will be ready to hang when you pick up the product. The special price is $500 (plus tax) and I'm scheduling the shoots for Friday, March 27th and Saturday, March 28th, 2015. Please let me know if you'd like to get in on the goodness!

March Madness Sale March 1-15th
I'm trying to offer some sort of promo every month this year whether it's a sale on a product or a photo special of some sort. I did run specials for January and February but didn't get them posted here. Guess what? March's promo is getting displayed right here right now. This accordian album promo runs March 1-15th, 2015. The promo is on the cute little accordian albums which are 2x3 inches and hold 12 different photos. They come in a 3 pack which are all identical. These make a great gift for mom and dad as well as grandma and grandpa. The gals can just pop these in their purse and whip them out at their next ladies lunch and show this great little number off to all their gal pals.
Hellllllloooooooooooooooo Long Lost Blog!
Oh me oh my oh! This poor blog is just like a lost little puppy wondering around out here in the internet world never getting any love from me anymore! With all the other social media venues, it's just so hard to keep up with it all. Aaaghhhhh! I did want to do a little update for anyone out there who might read this once in a blue moon. I did have some really cute Valentine shoots so wanted to post a few pics from that and send some love out.
Alot of you know that I offer some great Christmas cards every year but I also do more than just Christmas cards. I also make Valentine cards, senior graduation cards, Halloween & Thanksgiving and yes birth announcements, too! I had a client that missed getting out Christmas cards so she opted to send Valentine cards out this year and they turned out really cute so I wanted to share.

The Annual Down Syndrome of Central Texas Calendar Gala
It IS that time of year again, when the Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas rolls out their new calendar for the upcoming year! It's time for those calendar celebrities to put their best dress on, tie that tie and polish those shoes for it is their time to walk the red carpet and feel like a star! This year was a bit different that the previous years because the gala was moved to December and the venue was The Westin at the Domain. While we didn't have all the limos this year, each calendar celebrity still got to walk the red carpet into the ball room. It is such a joy to be there and experience this wonderful event. Every year the local Down Syndrome Association here (DSACT) puts together a yearly calendar to raise revenue for their cause. They always combine a local individual with Down Syndrome with a local celebrity for each month on the calendar and then they have a huge kick off party which is this gala. The individuals that star in the calendar for the year get the ultimate treatment at the gala. This year, the Biscuit Brothers made an appearance and gave a great concert. The kids loved every moment of it and had a blast dancing the night away. It is just the cutest thing you have ever seen! The photographer who volunteered ALL his time and photographed the entire calendar (which started in February!)is Bill Ledbetter from Image Eclectic Photography. He did a great job capturing everyone's personalities and putting together another beautiful calendar. It really is a great cause and if anyone feels moved in purchasing a calendar please click on over to DSACT and get yourself one!
