Hi all! Here's this years holiday cards! WOOHOO!!! We are bringing color back...FINALLY! The past few years designs have been mainly muted colors (which is fine) but I always enjoy receiving and sending a bright, cherrful Christmas cards to all my friends and family. These are 5x7 2 Sided Cardstock cards. You can make these even more special by having me print them on linen, pearl or potato paper. The pearl just gives everything a little shimmer. The potato paper feels like butter!

Downtown Austin Senior | Zac | Bowie High School

Zac knocked it out of the ball park with his senior shoot. He showed up with a great attitude and didn't give his mom any flack during the shoot. :) The weather was absolutely perfect and the leaves at Butler Park have some good color going on right now. We hit the Lamar Street bridge to wrap up his shoot with some skyline backgrounds which turned out super cool. Prop your feet up and grab a cold one and enjoy Zac's video.

Holiday Family Shoot | The Holders & Wilsons | Lake Austin

I love this time of year when I get to see The Holders and Wilson families for their annual holiday shoot. Since we missed last year due to Covid, I was in awe how tall the boys had grown since I saw them last! Sheesh! It's kinda insane actually. And, there's a new grand baby Charlie who I hadn't met yet. She's already 2 and cute as a bugs ear. She wasn't sure about the whole big family photo shoot but Grandma got her loosened up, smiling and dancing when she turned on some @DojaCat. LOL! This year the family opted for the red/black checked pattern personalized pj's which I think is such a fun idea! It's great for a large group that doesn't feel like coordinating outfits and wants casual and fun. Lifestyle Family Shoot | The Wylers | Dripping Springs, Texas

Meet this cute family The Wylers from Dripping Springs, TX! I had donated a photo shoot to @Carrying Hope which is a non profit organization here in Austin that makes back packs for children entering into the Foster Care system. A Hope Pack is a backpack or diaper bag filled with comfort items and essentials intended to help ease the transition for children who are entering a new foster home. Our goal is to offer items that a child entering foster care would either need or could find comfort in during those first 48 hours in care — you would be amazed what a fresh pair of jammies and a soft teddy bear can do for a child in crisis. Hope Packs also allow foster parents to focus solely on a child in those first crucial hours and days instead of rushing out to the store.

Lifestyle Sibling Shoot | Bali & Dylan | Brushy Creek Park

Here we go again...another year around the sun and these two just keep getting prettier and more handsome by the year. I have been photographing Bali and Dylan since Dylan was a newborn! What the what?! So naturally, I had to take a walk down memory lane and look up one of our old photo shoots from when they were little. This particular shoot was at a pinata shop off of East Cesar Chavez (before it was trendy). What can I say? I've always been ahead of my time when it came to scouting locations. :) They were 3 and 5 years old here and I have to say quite squeezable!

Now, they're both in high school and growing like weeds every time I see them! The name and age tee shirts have been a tradition since they were 3 and 5 years old. We joked at this shoot that their mom is going to be making them wear their name/age shirts at 35 years old with their kids in name/age shirts. LOL! They were mortified just thinking about it. Oh, here we are a few years later after I photographed their wedding and now coming soon is Baby McMahon! I'm so excited for them. We had a nice little casual shoot at Bull Creek Park and the warm hues of the fall leaves just popped against their greys and blue clothing.
