Lifestyle Family Shoot | The Wylers | Dripping Springs, Texas

Meet this cute family The Wylers from Dripping Springs, TX! I had donated a photo shoot to @Carrying Hope which is a non profit organization here in Austin that makes back packs for children entering into the Foster Care system. A Hope Pack is a backpack or diaper bag filled with comfort items and essentials intended to help ease the transition for children who are entering a new foster home. Our goal is to offer items that a child entering foster care would either need or could find comfort in during those first 48 hours in care — you would be amazed what a fresh pair of jammies and a soft teddy bear can do for a child in crisis. Hope Packs also allow foster parents to focus solely on a child in those first crucial hours and days instead of rushing out to the store.

Lifestyle Sibling Shoot | Bali & Dylan | Brushy Creek Park

Here we go again...another year around the sun and these two just keep getting prettier and more handsome by the year. I have been photographing Bali and Dylan since Dylan was a newborn! What the what?! So naturally, I had to take a walk down memory lane and look up one of our old photo shoots from when they were little. This particular shoot was at a pinata shop off of East Cesar Chavez (before it was trendy). What can I say? I've always been ahead of my time when it came to scouting locations. :) They were 3 and 5 years old here and I have to say quite squeezable!

Now, they're both in high school and growing like weeds every time I see them! The name and age tee shirts have been a tradition since they were 3 and 5 years old. We joked at this shoot that their mom is going to be making them wear their name/age shirts at 35 years old with their kids in name/age shirts. LOL! They were mortified just thinking about it. Lifestyle Maternity Shoot | The McMahons | Bull Creek Park

Oh, here we are a few years later after I photographed their wedding and now coming soon is Baby McMahon! I'm so excited for them. We had a nice little casual shoot at Bull Creek Park and the warm hues of the fall leaves just popped against their greys and blue clothing. I always love this time of year because everyone is ready to get their family photos updated in preparation for Christmas cards and gifts. I love it because I get to catch up with family's that I haven't seen in a year or two and see how much the kids have grown. It's been two years since I've seen this family but the kids have turned into teenagers in those two years! We opted to stay close to home this time and utilize our beautiful nearby park. You know how I love to show some love and emotions in my photos...well, take note of how much the kids loved when I told mom and dad to give a little smooch to each other. They were dying! ATX Lifestyle Senior Photo Shoot | Jordan | Bowie High School

Goodness...Jordan is a real beauty. I was motivated creatively while photographing her because of her pink, flowy long dress that she showed up in mixed with our forest scene on the giant fallen tree log mixed with her yellow hazel eyes and some soft natural lighting. These are the days that I love being a photographer when everything seems to fall into place. It's not always like that but this particular day it was. We had some serious humidity but I'll let that one thing go. We moved onto @Plaza Columbian next for a yummy coffee and a location filled with pops of color. It looks like we made a bee line to Mexico for this part of the shoot (I wish!) but we were right in the heart of Austin. Those sandals! Jordan rocked her outfit with a pop of neon pink heels which was perfect for our tropical destination. Then, we ended the shoot with some neutral, gray concrete walls that finished out the shoot with a bang. Grab yourself a chai latte and kick back and enjoy Jordan's video.

ATX Lifestyle Senior Shoot | Luke | Bowie High School

Let's hear it for the boy! Luke killed it. He showed up with a great attitude and gave it a 110% and we got some great photos of him to commemorate his senior year. I love the river bed shots and his brown and black plaid shirt looks so good mixed in with the nature. We had to add a pop of red from the storage container to honor those Bowie Bulldog colors! Luke is off to college after his senior year and wants to study medicine. Let's all wish him the best of luck because we definitely need people who still want to study medicine after this past year! Fletchers are in the House | ATX Lifestyle Family Photo Shoot | Sekrit Theater

Another year around the sun and another fun photo shoot with one of my favorite families...the Fletchers! The boys are growing up SO fast and they are still hysterical. We opted to shoot at the Sekrit Theater this year which I was super excited about because I've seen photos of this place but had never had a shoot there. It is definitely a slice of old Austin with an eclectic flair and a great mish mash of all sorts of different photo opportunities to take advantage of. The glass green house though was by far the coolest! They rocked their champagne and navy color palette and the boys looked dapper as ever.
